Senior Android Developer

Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Android Developer who has rich experience and a good understanding of the Android platform, excited to design and implement features for our Android application.

About the Customer: one of the largest streaming platform

About the Team: App Foundations team is about to abstract the client platform-level complexities and enable feature teams to achieve fast, immersive application rollouts across all major devices.

Start: 5th April

Duration: A 3-month fixed-term contract that becomes permanent after successful cooperation

English: upper-intermediate

What You Bring

Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred

5-8 years of experience in Android mobile applications development with sound understanding of Android Architecture, Framework, Android SDK and Android Studio IDE

Hands-on experience in building native mobile applications using technologies like Kotlin, Coroutines, Kotlin Flow

Expert in UI components and controls; Compose, Fragments, etc.

Good working experience on Web Service Integration (REST, JSON, Protocol buffer)

Broad knowledge of a range of mobility areas such as Enterprise mobility, Mobile applications pertaining to various domains like Retail, VAS, Media, BFSI, Healthcare, Social Networking, E-commerce etc.

Experience in using analytics, location and social APIs, MDM, payment gateway, SMS gateway, media content transcoding and cloud integration, App monitoring tools

Logical thinker attitude with strong problem solving and analytical ability to apply your mathematical, algorithmic and other expertise to solve real problems

Highly enthusiasm and enjoy learning new technologies and frameworks

Expertise in customer-facing application development in a high-scale environment
Strong communication skills
