Commercial Roofing Project Manager (Remote Position)

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and team-oriented Commercial Roofing Project Manager to lead the planning, implementation, and tracking of multiple commercial roofing projects from pre-construction to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, industry experience, and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire commercial roofing project lifecycle from planning to completion.
  • Prepare project schedules, phasing plans, and job cost management (ECAC & WIP reviews).
  • Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and manpower to ensure efficient execution.
  • Conduct pre-job meetings and coordinate handoffs from estimating to operations.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, and project teams regarding scheduling and progress.
  • Perform on-site management, quality control, and final inspections with customers and manufacturers.
  • Assist with estimating job walks and small service projects when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including PPE and fall protection.
  • Review and approve payroll and purchase orders related to assigned projects.

Qualifications & Experience

✅ 5+ years of experience in commercial roofing
✅ Prior Project Management or Estimating experience in commercial roofing or construction
✅ Ability to read blueprints, specs, and project documents
✅ Strong knowledge of roof system design, installation codes, and manufacturer warranty requirements
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and project management software
✅ Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
✅ Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
✅ Ability to lift and climb ladders/stairs (up to 30 ft.)
