We are looking for a Project Manager to support our projects in Western Canada. They will be responsible for the success of all projects at Advance Millwrights (“AMI”). They will ensure that the projects are on-time and on-budget while simultaneously achieving Customer Satisfaction. It is crucial that our Project Managers promotes a positive company image through effective communications, safety, quality, consistency, and professionalism.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work directly with Engineering, Operations, Health and Safety, and Customers on the seamless execution of landed projects.
Ensure all work is completed on budget, on time, and in accordance with all applicable plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
Ensure all field crews have the equipment, materials, and appropriately-skilled personnel to complete the project
Supervise and direct Project Coordinators where applicable
Promote a safety first culture by working in a safe manner & adhering to all safety policies & procedures
Provide mentorship, coaching and training to Project Coordinators, Foreman and Lead Hands as needed
Work with Field Services scheduler, purchasing etc. to resolve any with any anticipated staffing needs/changes and material purchases to avoid project delays.
Responsible for quality control of all completed work both onsite and in-house.
Gather all necessary project information and costs for the purposes of compiling and writing up change notices and out of scope work (extras).
Work with purchaser, suppliers, and vendors to ensure quality materials at competitive pricing.
Work with TMG finance team to ensure accurate customer invoicing, all paperwork (customer files, job files and quotes) are completed in a timely manner.
May prepare accurate job estimates as part of an assigned portfolio
Always conduct oneself in a professional manner in alignment with Company values, including but not limited to language use, attire, and workmanship
In accordance with Company policy and relevant employment legislation, overtime and work outside of regular hours, and being on call may be required at the discretion of the Company
All other duties as required
Requirements
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
3 + years of Project management experience in the manufacturing industry
Post-secondary education preferred with a background in mechanical design or engineering
Project Management Professional certification or desire to pursue
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, time and budget management skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD True View.
Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning systems with preference for experience working with Microsoft NAV Dynamics
Willing and able to travel to customer locations as needed
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
