Project Manager – BESS

Job Description

Our client specialise in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) with experience of delivering solar and wind projects also. Due to an ever growing pipeline they have a hugely exciting opportunity for a Project Manager that has strong experience in delivering projects from inception, all the way through construction, commissioning and handover, preferably in the BESS or wider renewables market.
Key Duties
Oversee and manage teams across the entire project lifecycle
Management of projects in the UK from planning, consents through EPC and commissioning/handover
Project management of assigned contractors for civil, mechanical and electrical
Qualifications & Experience:
A degree in Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience) is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of project management, particularly within a renewable energy developer, contractor, or consultancy environment.
Experience with both development and construction phases of energy projects is crucial.
This is a remote position with national travel as and when required. We therefore welcome applications from anywhere within the UK.
