Job Description

The Senior Ad Ops Specialist role at Fandom is a senior level role in the world in the online media space. The role combines project/account management, sales and ad trafficking/operations duties for the digital display (banner) and video ad campaigns on the sell side, which are run through direct and programmatic technology platforms. The position involves supporting our global direct sales teams (in the US and EU) in programmatic campaign management by setting up and optimizing deals, as well as providing detailed insights and reports on performance.

This is a client facing role, requiring communication with both internal (Sales team) and external clients (agencies). It involves regular collaboration with Sales Planners, Account Managers, Ad Quality Assurance and Sales teams based in our global office locations: London, Poznań, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, LA. As a Senior Ad Ops Specialist, you’re also going to support the team with education and training based on your area of expertise.

The office hours for this role are 3 – 11 PM CET.

You Will…
Implement, test, launch and optimize digital advertising campaigns (display and video), as well as work with our QA and engineering teams to resolve issues arising in delivery of ads
Monitor campaign delivery via third party and internal ad serving systems to ensure budget and KPI fulfillment
Provide campaign screenshots and reports to the sales team as needed
Test ads across mobile, tablet and desktop platforms for compliance with technical specifications; work closely with QA and Ad Engineering as necessary to debug and resolve issues.
Support other teams in addressing issues around your chosen field of expertise, identify knowledge gaps in the team and wider org relevant to their specialization and provide simple training on the above
Help build media plans for programmatic campaigns – check availability of inventory and recommend best ways to allocate budget based on client’s KPI,
Provide regular and ad hoc campaign reports and make recommendations on growth areas and work with our Sales Team and Ad Ops Manager to optimize existing programmatic campaigns
Support the team in partnership communications, analyzing data and deal setup
Support sales team with your technical expertise during client calls
Optimize team processes related to the deal setup, product execution, campaign distribution and your area of expertise
You Have…
3+ years of professional experience in the digital advertising or performance marketing role (Ad Ops experience strongly preferred, Meta / LinkedIn / TikTok / Google Ads experience acceptable)
Strong understanding of at least 1 ad serving platform / SSP / DSP
Self-motivation, proactive attitude and attention to detail
Proficiency with Excel and ability to present and discuss data in a clear and professional manner
Business-minded, excellence in client service (both internal and external) and ability to work as a partner with remote teams
Excellent understanding of campaign KPIs and how to report on them, as well as flexibility in reporting on new metrics
Fluency in English
Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external teams
Knowledge about JavaScript, HTML, Internet file formats, or web coding concepts
Proactiveness in identifying knowledge gaps in the team and looking for solutions
Track record of identifying optimization opportunities in processes
