Software Engineer III (Remote)

Job Description

For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer III (remote) to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Business Services environment.

Location: Remote – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $103,600 – $162,000 annually

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy production software for chatbot platform
Deliver code that meets sprint commitments and coding standards
Engage actively in collaborative discussions and coding sessions
Align design strategy with Product, Tech Leads, and Architects
Offer constructive feedback on merge requests prioritizing business requirements and security
Communicate effectively to ensure team and customer alignment
Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support

Qualifications

BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
8+ years in large scale enterprise development
Proficient in Python, Java, SQL, XML, HTML, and CSS
Familiarity with Linux, Eclipse IDE, GIT, JIRA, and Agile methodology
Experience with LLM APIs like OpenAI and prompt design
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Knowledge of AWS, user interface development, and mobile development is advantageous
