Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Guidewire Tester to join our QEA team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Guidewire testing and a strong background in Property and Casualty Insurance. Your role involves designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality insurance solutions.
In this role, you will
Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Guidewire applications including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter and BillingCenter.
Develop Policy Center & Claim Center configuration/Integration test scenarios & test cases.
Utilize Java and Selenium to develop and maintain automated test scripts.
Execute API testing and validate data flow between Guidewire and external systems.
Conduct thorough reviews of test plans test cases and test scripts to ensure they meet project requirements.
Perform end-to-end testing of Guidewire modules including integrations and data flows.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and testing of new features.
Required skills: what you need to be considered
Overall 8-14 years of experience in P&C insurance with at least 4+ years in Guidewire testing.
Experience in Policy Center, Billing Center, Claim Center and Integration Testing.
Must be well versed in Property & Casualty insurance specifically Auto and Home lines.
Experience with Selenium WebDriver for automating web application.
Must have very good experience in Agile and well versed in standard QA processes.
Good understanding of CI/CD integration with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Experienced with reporting tools like Jira, ALM, Azure DevOps.
Preferred skills: what will help you stand out
Guidewire certifications are plus.
Knowledge in Gen AI.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, ON.
