Job Description

For our client, we are seeking a AI Solutions Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $173,000 – $233,000 annually

Responsibilities

Build and deploy AI agents, APIs, and applications on the company’s internal platform, overseeing the full lifecycle
Translate messy business requirements into functional production systems with integrations like Workday and Notion
Ensure AI systems are compliant with existing security and data governance protocols while navigating complex constraints
Design and develop reliability infrastructure for multi-model LLM services, implementing quality control measures
Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to clarify problems and offer impactful technical solutions
Contribute to team codebases and infrastructure, ensuring rapid development and deployment cycles
Diagnose and fix production issues for the systems you create, embodying ownership of your work

Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in software engineering, focused on building and maintaining production applications
Strong understanding of systems architecture, including databases, APIs, and deployment pipelines
Hands-on expertise with Python and proficiency in version control systems like Git/GitHub
Proven track record of creating solutions in undefined problem spaces, demonstrating a builder disposition
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders
